A cheesy crab sandwich that tastes like you’re eating a crab cake.
Ingredients
6 ounces, weight Crab Meat, Canned, Drained
¼ cups Mayonnaise, Reduced Fat
1 teaspoon Cajun Creole Seasoning
2 Tablespoons Sweet Bell Pepper, Chopped
2 Tablespoons Celery Finely Chopped
1 Tablespoon Onion, Finally Chopped
2 slices Jalapeno, Pickled, Diced (optional)
Salt And Pepper
1 Tablespoon Butter
4 slices Bread
1 ounce, weight Cheddar Cheese, Shredded Or Sliced
Preparation
In a small bowl, add crab meat, mayonnaise, Cajun Creaole seasoning,
bell pepper, celery, onions and jalapeno. Mix until combined. Season
with salt and pepper to taste.
To make the sandwich, butter the top and bottom piece of bread. Add
crab salad to a slice of bread, top with cheese. Place sandwich on a
griddle and cook until cheese is melted and bread is browned.
